Calling All Volunteers for Casselman’s Outdoor Ice Rink!
Calling All Volunteers for Casselman’s Outdoor Ice Rink!
Winter is here, and so is one of Casselman’s favorite community treasures—the Outdoor Ice Rink is now OPEN! This amazing space located at Richelieu Park on 46 Faucher Blvd offers free skating for all ages, a fantastic way to enjoy fresh air, stay active, and keep the youth engaged in a healthy winter activity. To keep this community gem running smoothly, we need your help! Our outdoor rink is run the support of volunteers, and we’re looking for dedicated individuals to join the team. With a chilly winter ahead, we’re excited for a great season, but we need more hands to:
❄️ Clear the ice after snowfall
❄️ Flood the ice to keep it smooth and safe
How You Can Help
- The more volunteers, the better! With enough team members, we aim to set up a rotation schedule, so each volunteer takes one day a week.
- No experience? No problem! Seasoned volunteers will provide training, and all equipment is provided at the rink.
Why Volunteer?
- Give back to your community.
- Enjoy a rewarding experience supporting a cherished winter activity.
- Be part of a team that makes a difference!
