The Municipality of Casselman is responsible for maintaining and repairing the roads on its territory. As such, it is responsible for such tasks as minor paving, snow removal, signage maintenance, road markings, sidewalk management, street lights and much more.

Parking
Public parking
In addition to the public parking spaces available along the street, St-Isidore Street offers an ideal opportunity to enjoy a day out in Casselman. Please note, however, that this parking space is not intended for long-term use. In addition, Via Rail parking is for train users only.
Overnight parking in winter
The winter overnight parking by-law is in effect from November 1 to April 1 of each year, and the conditions apply during this period:
- It is forbidden to park on the streets of the Municipality between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.
- If you park your vehicle on the street during the prohibited period and/or if your vehicle interferes with snow removal operations, you are liable to a fine.
- In the event of towing, your vehicle will be relocated to the St-Isidore street parking lot.

Snow removal
The Municipality of Casselman's road network covers 35 km. Winter maintenance includes salting and sanding, snow plowing and snow removal.
Keep snow on your property
When clearing your driveway, keep the snow on your property. This will promote safe pedestrian and vehicle traffic. If a contractor is clearing snow from your yard, it's your responsibility to inform him that he must keep the snow on your property and ensure that no snow is left on the street or sidewalk.

By respecting on-street parking restrictions, you allow our snow removal vehicles to circulate easily on the streets and clean up efficiently.

Work in progress
St-Isidore Street
The replacement and repair work on several water valves in the municipality is ongoing. At the same time, the replacement of water and sanitary pipes is underway on St- Isidore Street (between Isabelle and St-Joseph).
These significant improvements aim to enhance our infrastructure and are expected to be completed by October. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this construction period.
