Business Permits

Regulation 2012-209 mandates that businesses hold a business license to operate within the Municipality of Casselman.

• All businesses, as defined in the by-law, are required to apply for and obtain a business license before commencing operations in the Municipality of Casselman. These businesses include shops, home-based businesses, seasonal operations, entertainment establishments, construction contractors, and others.
• To obtain a business license, inspections and approvals from Urban Planning, Construction, Fire Services, Municipal Regulations, and the Health Department may be required.
• A business license is valid for one year and must be renewed annually.

There is a non-refundable $15 application fee.

Annual permit fees range from $50 to $300, depending on the type of business. In most cases, the annual fee is $100.
